Erin Jane is a singer/songwriter from Brisbane who plays piano and acoustic guitar. She is also a member of the all-girl pop/rap band, Sneeky Picnic, who, in their 2-years of being together have twice played Big Day Out.
Erin has graduated from a Bachelor of Popular Music at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, and has been teaching regularly as well as performing at different venues around Brisbane.
Erin thoroughly enjoys the world of teaching and the wonderful qualities it brings into her life. She says that not only is it a challenge, it is also a wonderful venture in watching students grow and progress into their music, which is incredibly rewarding.
Erin Jane’s solo music is inspired by strong female artists such as Sara Bareilles, Carole King, Missy Higgins and Katy Perry. She says that all of these artists have had such an impact on her songwriting and inspiration to write.
Erin Jane has performed at venues including Brisbane’s Hideaway, The Regatta Hotel and QPAC as well as house concerts, supporting
artists such as Emma Dean and Francesca de Valence. She has also had the opportunity to perform at festivals including The Bleach Festival, The Red Deer Music and Arts Festival, Island Vibes Festival and more. Erin Jane’s music encapsulates an emotional, warm and heartfelt feel, with a fun and cheeky rhythm.
