Alexander O'Connell is a Brisbane based actor, entertainer and teacher. He graduated from East15 acting school in the UK back in 2016 and moved to Australia a year later. He has been expanding his experience and performing knowledge ever since by working in every area of the industry he can land in.  

 

Alex started teaching at the start of 2019 and has built up a wealth of experience in teaching stagecraft, boosting confidence, guiding character creation, building ensembles and directing shows. He is very excited to be a part of the Rockit team bringing that experience to the students to give a wide range of skills they can bring to their performances, as well as life as a whole.  

 

His recent theatrical credits include, MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING (Claudio), PUFFS (Cedric), THE WRONG FLOOR (Liam), THE GOVERNMENT INSPECTOR (Post Master and others), CLUE (Wadsworth the Butler), and PETER PAN (Smee, Grown up Peter).

Alex wrote and director ROCKIT's Actors Studio production of HEROES (Mythology of the Greeks) in 2022 and is thrilled to be joining the team again this year.
