"Welcome to Duloc, such a perfect town..."
Once upon a time, in a far away swamp, there lived an ogre named Shrek. One day, Shrek finds his swamp invaded by banished fairytale misfits who have been cast off by Lord Farquaad, a tiny terror with big ambitions. When Shrek sets off with a wisecracking donkey to confront Farquaad, he's handed a task – if he rescues feisty princess Fiona, his swamp will be righted. Shrek tries to win Fiona’s love and vanquish Lord Farquaad, but a fairytale wouldn't be complete without a few twists and turns along the way.

auditions
Auditions for this production will be held on Saturday 5th February between 10:00am-3:30pm.
Students will be seen in 90-min blocks with potential offers for a callback
between 4:00-7:00pm that same day.
Performance
This production will have two performances at 2:00pm and 6:30pm on Sunday the 12th June 2022.
who
This production is part of our INTERMEDIATE Program for students in Grade 9
and will perform alongside our younger ELEMENTARY students.
rehearsals
Weekly rehearsals will be held on Friday afternoons from 5:00-7:00pm at ROCKIT HQ (1 Trade Street, Ormiston QLD 4160)
and will commence on Friday 4th February, 2022.
(Classes run following the QLD State School Calendar, observing QLD Public Holidays)
Fees
Tuition fees for the FULL SEMESTER (18 Weeks) cost $650 (inc. GST) with various payment plans available.
$60 (inc. GST) Costume Hire
We always endeavour to keep costume costs at a minimum, so some simple costumes will be supplied by students (Shoes, socks, T-Shirts, etc) while the more complex items will be supplied by ROCKIT Productions.
