Auditions will be held on Saturday 10th February between 10:30am-4:15pm.

We try to make our auditions as fun as possible! This is certainly not meant to be a stressful day. We like to workshop items and play to find the best role for each person

To streamline the audition process, students will be organised into small groups, with each group scheduled for a 105-minute block. (1hr, 45mins)

Please note that all enrolled students will automatically be included in the production, and auditions optional for this age group.

Weekly classes will be held on Tuesday Afternoons at ROCKIT LAUNCHPAD STUDIOS (36 Old Cleveland Rd, Capalaba, 4157) starting on Tuesday 30th January 2024.

Classes run following the QLD State School Calendar, observing QLD Public Holidays.

JUNIORS 1 (G3-4) will rehearse 4:00-5:45pm weekly.

JUNIORS 2 (G5-6) will rehearse 4:15-6:00pm weekly.

There will be two Full Day Rehearsals throughout the Semester so our Junior students can learn their blocking, extra songs and dances and piece together the show with the Rugrat cast. These dates are:

Saturday 9th March and Saturday 27th April (Times TBC)

As we near closer to the show, we extend our rehearsals a little longer (3:45pm -6:30pm) so that we can run the show with costumes within the rehearsal time. These dates are:

Tuesdays 30th April, 7th, 14th, and 21st May.

Each of our Musical Theatre performance programs run over two terms, full fees and discounts are viewable HERE.

A Costume Hire fee of $70 (inc. GST) will be added to your first term Invoice so the team can get your costumes ordered and ready for dress rehearsals.

We always endeavour to keep costume costs at a minimum, so some simple items (like black basics, undergarments, and shoes) will be supplied by students while the more complex costumes will be supplied by ROCKIT Productions.

We know that the cost of living is greatly affecting our community so we have introduced our 2024 DISCOUNT PACKAGE to help ease the load. Check it out HERE.

Basically, the more classes you add, the more you save!

We do not expect fees to be paid in advance each term as these packages can really add up, so we offer a number of payment plan options with our direct debit partner PayAdvantage.

ROCKIT is a safe space.

At ROCKIT, we take pride in fostering a safe and supportive environment. By removing dance competitions and examinations, we prioritise a positive and inclusive atmosphere promoting body positivity and self-confidence.

Here, each student can freely explore their creativity and talents without fear of judgment.
