We have a pathway for every child!
Our RUGRAT Musical Theatre Program is built from creative play, allowing our students to develop their skills in singing, acting and dance in a safe and supportive environment all while working towards a performance in partnership with our JUNIOR students.

Perhaps DANCE is more your style? We've just added a 30min Jazz/Ballet hybrid class to our Saturday morning schedule. Do either one class or BOTH!
PRODUCTION INFO
WHO
This production is part of our RUGRAT Program for students from Prep to Grade 2. Students will be separated for weekly classes and will perform together, alongside our older JUNIOR students.

PERFORMANCE
Our RUGRATS will have 6 performances across two weekends.
TECH REHEARSAL: Saturday 18th May
SHOW Day: Sunday 19th May (2 Shows)
SHOW Day: Saturday 25th May (2-3 Shows)
SHOW Day: Sunday 26th May (2-3 Shows)
AUDITIONS
Auditions are not required for this age group.

Although rehearsals have already commenced, we are accepting new additions to this class up to the April School Holidays.

WEEKLY CLASSES
Weekly classes will be held on Saturday mornings at ROCKIT LAUNCHPAD STUDIOS (36 Old Cleveland Rd, Capalaba, 4157) starting on Saturday 3rd February 2024.
Classes run following the QLD State School Calendar, observing QLD Public Holidays.
JAZZ/BALLET (Prep to Gr 2) runs 9:00-9:30am weekly.

RUGRATS (Prep) runs 9:30-10:30am weekly.
​
RUGRATS (Gr 1 to Gr 2) runs 9:30-10:30am weekly.

Students may enrol in either 1 or both classes.

FULL DAY REHEARSALS
There will be two Full Day Rehearsals throughout the Semester so our RUGRAT and JUNIOR programs can combine to learn their blocking, combined songs and dances and piece together the show. These dates are:

Each of our Musical Theatre performance programs run over two terms, full fees and discounts are viewable HERE.
A Costume Hire fee of $70 (inc. GST) will be added to your first term Invoice so the team can get your costumes ordered and ready for dress rehearsals.
We always endeavour to keep costume costs at a minimum, so some simple items (like black basics, undergarments, and shoes) will be supplied by students while the more complex costumes will be supplied by ROCKIT Productions.
