"Who lives in a pineapple under the sea…”

It’s a beautiful, regular, ordinary day in Bikini Bottom until SpongeBob, his pals Patrick and Sandy, and all their neighbours are faced with total, utter, annihilation… Sleeping volcano Mt Humongous has woken up and impending doom is first up on the schedule!

Chaos erupts. Lives hang in the balance. Plankton plots his scheme. Oh yeah, can't forget the evil villain side plot! Just when all hope seems lost, a most unexpected hero rises up and takes center stage. Turns out, the power of optimism really can save the world!

Join our SENIORS for this incredible musical adaptation of Nickelodeon's most beloved animated sponge on a whirlwind adventure to save the day!

Musical Theatre is the combination of Singing, Acting, and Dance used to create theatrical magic onstage and tell a story. ROCKIT believes the journey to the performance is just as important as the performance itself, and our doors will always be open to students regardless of previous training or lack thereof. However it is important our highest, most respected age group (SENIORS) delivers an expected level of performance, particularly in the discipline of dance.

The only prerequisite for joining our SENIORS Program, is one weekly technical dance class (Jazz or Ballet) outside of the SPONGEBOB Rehearsal Room. We have a range of classes on offer if you would like a targeted class (ROCKIT DANCE) however we know how hard finances are in 2022, and want to encourage our students to improve, so we now offer a FREE Seniors-Only Introduction to Dance Class on Wednesdays from 4:00-4:45pm before SPONGEBOB Rehearsals for any students who aren't already taking classes.

Once again, this class is only for students enrolled in SPONGEBOB and it is FREE!

If you would like to join this class, make sure you tick the box in the application form below.

Fitness & flexibility add-on

So often we hear our teen performers say "I wish I could kick that high" or "I'm not strong enough to do that" and we want to help them improve to be the best they can. To assist with this, we have added a class to the timetable specifically tailored for this age group wanting to improve their dance ability and work on their body strength and flexibility. This class follows immediately after our weekly SENIORS rehearsals from 7:30-8:30pm Wednesday nights.

To book a place, make sure you check the box in your application form below!
