It’s the brassy, bright, and promising year of 1959. Boston’s Colonial Theatre is host to the opening night performance of a new musical. When the leading lady mysteriously dies on stage the entire cast & crew are suspects and are forced to spend the night in the theatre until the killer is found!

Join our SENIORS for this hilarious Murder Mystery Musical, written by Broadway legends Kander and Ebb (Chicago, Sweet Charity), and keep guessing "whodunit" right 'til the finale!

auditions
Auditions for this production will be held on Saturday 29th January between 10:00am-3:30pm.
Students will be seen in 90-min blocks with potential offers for character callback between 4:00-7:30pm that same day.

Performance
This production will have two performances at 1:00pm and 7:00pm on Sunday the 26th June 2022.

This production is part of our SENIORS Program for students in Grades 10 to 12.

rehearsals
Weekly rehearsals will be held on Wednesday afternoons from 5:00-7:30pm at ROCKIT HQ (1 Trade Street, Ormiston QLD 4160) and will commence on Wednesday 2nd February, 2022
(Classes run following the QLD State School Calendar, observing QLD Public Holidays)
Fees
Tuition fees for the FULL SEMESTER (19 Weeks) are $700 (inc. GST) with various payment plans available.
$65 (inc. GST) Costume Hire
We always endeavour to keep costume costs at a minimum, so some simple costumes will be supplied by students while the more complex items will be supplied by ROCKIT Productions.

Fitness & flexibility add-on
So often we hear our teen performers say "I wish I could kick that high" or "I'm not strong enough to do that" and we want to help them improve to be the best they can. To assist with this, we have added a class to the timetable specifically tailored for this age group wanting to improve their dance ability and work on their body strength and flexibility. This class follows immediately after our weekly SENIORS rehearsals from 7:30-8:30pm Wednesday nights.
